Zane Smith - Black Success (Aim High)

This my real life man
So that's all I know
Yeah, Zane Smith
They like what you wanna be
Where you wanna go
What you tryna get
Honestly I don't know
Like I said before
How would I ever know if I never tried
Momma told me aim high
If I shoot for the moon, at least I'll land on the stars
There's more to this world than money, women, and cars
Ain't no measure to success, I just wanna go far
Oh LordOh Lord
Hold OnHold On

Momma told me aim high, so I'm shooting for the sky
Cause I gotta get it, get in before I die
Like they always say, you never know you never try
That's why I get it in, three sixty five
Momma told me aim high, so I'm shooting for the sky
Cause I gotta get it, get in before I die
Like they always say, you never know you never try
That's why I get it in, three sixty five

Do you want that watch
Do you want that drop
Oh you want that chain
That shit don't mean a thing
Two crabs in a bucket, man I need substance
Benn searching for something, found a whole lotta nothing
Everybody want a lot, I'm working with what I got
Have's and have not's, piss but no pot
What really is success
Plenty hours of rest, a life without stress
My family just want the best, I guess
I get excited about the future
Place myself in situations I ain't used to
Tryna be a Martin Luther
King, everybody got a dream as hard as it seems
Put in work behind the scenes then they'll finally see
Only God knows what was meant for me
I'm tryna take the galaxy
Momma told me aim high, so I'm shooting for the sky
Yeah I gotta try, yeah I gotta try

Momma told me aim high, so I'm shooting for the sky
Cause I gotta get it, get in before I die
Like they always say, you never know you never try
That's why I get it in, three sixty five

Momma told me aim high
Aim high Aim high Aim high
Aim high Aim high Aim high
So I'm shooting for the sky
I'm shooting for the sky
I got to get it in
Before I die
I gotta try
I gotta try
